Where is your facility located?
Anchor Self Storage is located at 1050 Sonoma Boulevard, Vallejo, CA 94590, just minutes from neighborhoods throughout Vallejo. We’re conveniently situated about one mile from Highway 80 at the intersection of Sonoma Boulevard and Solano Drive.
Do you have an on-site manager?
Yes. Our resident manager oversees daily operations, assists customers, and helps monitor the facility.
Is your facility eco-friendly?
Yes. Anchor Self Storage operates a solar electric system that generates our own energy, making us a clean, green storage option.
What’s a free move-in truck?
We offer a free move-in truck for new customers moving their belongings into storage. Please contact our office for availability and details.
Security and Storage Features
What type of security features does your facility offer?
Our storage facility includes electronic gated access with unique customer codes, individually alarmed storage units, LED lighting, surveillance cameras, and professional on-site management.
Do you offer storage supplies?
Yes. Moving and packing supplies, including boxes, tape, locks, and bubble wrap, are available for purchase in our front office during business hours.
What can't be stored in a self storage units?
While the list is fairly short, some items are not allowed because they pose safety or legal risks. Combustible materials such as fireworks, fuel tanks, fertilizer, and paint thinner cannot be stored. Firearms are also not permitted.
Food, pet food, plants, and animals should never be stored because they can attract pests and create sanitation issues. Illegal items, including prohibited weapons, drugs, drug paraphernalia, or stolen property, are also strictly prohibited.

Do I need a climate controlled unit?
Climate-controlled storage is not usually necessary in the Bay Area. The region’s mild temperatures and relatively low humidity mean most household and business items can be safely stored in a standard unit.
